LifeandLeadership.com Summary
Although this book is almost twenty years old, it is still worth reading for the way it will challenge your thinking and spark your creativity about increasing generosity in your congregation. It is exactly as it describes, 44 ways, a treasury of ideas. Do not expect a linear process for stewardship building. But if you have read the other guides (see suggestions), or if you already have a good process for stewardship development and just want to breathe new life into it, this book is excellent. Some of the concepts will sound a bit dated, but look beyond that and you will find plenty of ideas to spark your creativity. It is an easy read, which may be worth it just for the Friar Tuck cartoons. 🙂
