About the Author
Bruce G. Epperly and Katherine Gould Epperly, both ordained ministers in the United Church of Christ and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), are co-pastors of disciples United Community Church , and teach at Lancaster Theological Seminary. Bruce, an associate professor of practical theology at Lancaster, is director of the Alliance for the Renewal of Ministry and Continuing Education. He received his Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate University. Katherine has been a university chaplain for twenty-five years.
