Henry and Norman Blackaby, Experiencing Prayer With Jesus: The Power of His Presence and Example. Multnomah Books, 2006.

LifeandLeadership.com Summary
This book may be of interest to those who use Blackaby’s popular curriculum Experiencing God or his book on personal and corporate revival, Fresh Encounter. A major emphasis on these materials is the role of prayer, thus a volume devoted exclusively to that subject. It is part of large line of books and workbooks that build upon the teaching and approach of Blackaby’s popular curriculum, Experiencing God.
Some may wish to balance Blackaby with the evaluation of mystical spirituality by Michael Horton, In the Face of God, which was written several years before. Nevertheless, many Christians have healthfully deepened their walk with God through this curriculum. Several volumes from the series are linked in the summary of Experiencing God. Similar resources, some of which provide a good balance to Blackaby, are in the guiding essay on Spiritual Revival.
